The Shrimp project has two types of platforms. The first kind is what we called "Shrimp-II." It uses our own network interfaces, Pentium PCs and the Paragon backplane as the network switch. The second kind uses the Myrinet network switches, PCI network interfaces and Pentium PCs, Pentium-SMPs, and Pentium-Pro SMPs. The software is being developed for Linux and Windows NT. The software is now available on the software page. |
